Crecimiento
Dear fellows: - During this weekend we have been learning and growing facing our life purpose in the way of fulfillment, nothing else to say about that but... enjoy your life. Thank you all, I'm complete-.
Gracias a tod@s, estoy completo.
Iba a dedicar tiempo a ello.
A mi yaya y a Felip. A Rebu y a Fructu.
Pablo Lapuente Sagarra.

Andre & Martin's Garden in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. 1st June 2012
Inspiration
Today’s been a special day, that’s why now I started unavoidably writing. “Special” comes from a High School Teacher’s discussion in Spanish Literature classroom at Maristes Montserrat Lleida’s School. I was justifying my homework’s poorness to Mr. Fortuny due to my last night lack of inspiration, but he replied there was no inspiration behind a writer but a lot of work. I didn’t shut up just by talking about love’s inspiration and its interaction to many different levels of creativity or arts when it booms emotionally in everyone. Anyway, today’s been an inspirational day.
Day off at Andre & Martin’s Garden so nothing better than spend it with a kayak trip! As every time Christian (German guy is working here in exchange of accommodation and board like me) and I have gone for a day-trip Andre prepared us a lunch made of sandwiches, an apple, cheese, chocolate, nuts powerball, water and.. father/mother’s love, depending on the occasion. Later on I’ll go deeper about Andre and Martin because they’re such a nice people. At 11 am we were departing from Ganges heading up to Prevost Island, a 19 km rented tandem kayak trip, counting on some instructions about best places to spot seals, fur seals and porpoises. Just a while since our starting point we met some harbour seal groups, grooving just with their presence. One and a half hours of further paddling and we got the James Bay already at Prevost Island, at a cozy little awesome and quiet corner where we honoured Andre’s lunch made love.
Coming back, we were very lucky spotting some porpoises! First in front of us 30 m away and disappearing suddenly. I asked Chris to wait just in case we had the chance to spot them closer and..voila! They emerged circling us, following a spiral closer and closer to our kayak. I was so exited that didn’t I take my camera neither while admiring them breathing, kid faced and smiling for the rest of the day, as we got them swimming from less than 5 meters. Amazing.
After resting at the Chocolate beach -where Chris confessed his new dream: to own a kayak- we were pushed by the back wind to the rental. Andre picked us up and served a spectacular dinner, as he used to, made of grilled halibut and corn, salad and fruit with yogurt as dessert. Cigarette after having it and a movie in english: The curious case of Benjamin Button. Nights in here are like at the mountains, silent and evoked. It was just then when all the feelings I want to write about got in order on my mind, here we go...
Growing
- During this weekend we have been learning and growing facing our life purpose in the way of fulfillment, nothing else to say about that but... enjoy your life. Thank you all, I'm complete-.
These were my last words ending the second Co-Active coaching training weekend in Vancouver. Closing the courses up each of the 26 students are supposed to say what needed to finish with a -I’m complete-. After an exhausting weekend, observing very tired, excited, committed, broken, change promising faces.. were the words came out from my inner. And I keep convinced that it doesn’t matter when or how, along life one can always take their self-missed way.
I refer to the change, to apologize, to thank, to say I love you either. Also the coming-back-home feeling or the significant other goodbye, I’m talking about self-love. All of them are just ways whenever we didn’t allow to take and they remained pending. It's never too late to take them.
I would say last weekend I learned just a few things but with a lot of sense and important for me. First one was about the figure that evolves the inner voice that in a sort of natural and preventing way pretends to protect and grant our surveillance, as it comes from the human origins. In order to make it more understandable it can tell us things like: -attack, he’s offending you-, -don’t even try, you’re gonna fail-, -don’t be so hard on yourself, you could try whenever you want-, -defend yourself, he’s damn wrong-,... it’s supposed each has them own. Misunderstand the understanding, fight against change and learning, and sometimes make us choose for ways actually we don’t want to take. Generally like to keep everything as it is, celebrating the status quo while dynamics and life's flow are missed. The figure is called Saboteur. We made the exercise to let it get the full control for just a few minutes and I realized how easy is to hurt anybody, we were role-playing although.
Next day was very emotional. One of the exercises was to personify - to give a name to - four values: wisdom, certainty, courage and compassion. I suspire excited yet.. so I found myself face to face with someone who passed away and lays being light, who was director of our Lleida's school, monitor and parter of many countryside scouts' trips, friend, mentor and inspiration for many of us, Maristes little brother Felip Gallifa i Maqueda. Who said last goodbye to Amistar (nickname of our group of friends that would be translated by "To friend") just in front of Cellers' Rail station at the bottom of Monsec Range (South of Pyrenees Range, Spain). Who remains giving us energy and support. He talked to us about body's enjoyment as an unavoidable part of the binomial together with the soul. -Felip, such a God goodness!!- (usual said by him).
During the third day of training we went deeper to the life purpose, the personal will that inspires us, makes us fulfilled, calls us and definitely the ultimate reason why each of us has come into this world. I almost feel shame sharing it... but instead I drew it on a paper sheet that makes me smile and get elated every time I have a look at it. Being 30 years old and so thankful about what life brought me by now I feel committed to walk to it in spite of knowing, Dad, the uncertainty could bring to you reading these words.
That weekend I got involved in such a shared content we've been talking about with many of you, when chatting about life. I believe so healthy discussing and sharing life's impressions and experiences, passions. It feeds the soul and if comes from humility always brings the chance to learn something new. Every day we make a lot of decisions that lead our path, from the foolish to the crucial issues. At last what oneself shares with his pillow are ones feelings. That's what really remains. Sometimes either in the name of love we don't bring wellness to our fellows neither ourselves, and the only indicator is how we feel then. We are not well trained for that..but there's always time left!!
Anyway I leave this theme right here right now as I want to get into it by writing other blogs also about many other thoughts and how what I'm learning now could make life easier and simpler.
Last three weeks, in Andre & Martin's place in Salt Spring Island.
The first afternoon was like tasting a good wine without labelling. I had my expectations about what I was gonna find in such a small island coming from a sweet, wild place as Michelle's Little Fort Ranch. The first sip showed me the huge contrast between both places, but after a walk and a tasty dinner served by Andre , I recognized wonderful flavours in my mouth, guessing which were going to enjoy during the next weeks. I was going to take time for that.
Generally Martin was the boss concerning work -Andre used to kidding about it- and took any kind of caring before explaining each project. I started with four hard work days moving dirt from one place to another by pick and shovel and preparing part of a small hill for the grapes planting. Martin used to share the afternoon with me, and always were time for chatting about his past builder life all along Canada, the countryside lifestyle and about the family. Was tender and curious equally so the work was easily done. Always once finished the day he thanked me. Andre, a retired immigration officer was in charge taking bad herbs off, spreading and many other issues. He cooks greatly with his own garden's vegetables or organic almost 100%.
After having dinner I used to look for the mail downhill with Andre, taking time for chatting and for a short nicely walk. Both of them are very sensitive of the world's will on the current days, therefore don't use to watch Canadian TV but Russian TV via internet. Both of them, between 50-60 years old, are lovely.
Just before the first week was ended Christian arrived, a German 26 years old engineer who decided to spend a year in Canada before starting with an office job. Honestly he seemed a bit reserved but nice guy to me; we used to discuss the best way to carry up with each Martin's land management challenge. During the following weeks we worked on fences for the rabbits at the raspberry corner, digging, spreading, campfire relocation, garden's stuff, irrigation.. but I would like to point on two projects that gave us the chance to find humility by sweating and the satisfaction on the well done work.
On one side was taking Scotish Broom off. A bad herb a Scotish guy brought at the beggining of last century. When we saw the extension of that f....g herb around us almost left it. Nevertheless with the right way of taking it everything is possible!! Our backs paid up a heavy price, must be said. By the other side we worked on a 150 sq m forested area to converted it into a storage place. I would never bet on it, but after clearing, digging and levelling it we couldn't believe it! Is so satisfying to work like this, testifying the output, the sense and the exquisiteness of doing as best as possible. We kept earning the dinner!
Andre invited us to joining his Tuesday's early yoga session, from 7 to 8:30 am. And sincerely I enjoyed it a lot. In addition to stretch each muscle I almost got the nirvana during the last 10 minutes of meditation. So Toni.. now already known!
It was not possible for me to avoid deal with them relevant issues in the present moment. In the lazy beginning, both responded with the calm whom is wearing more than 50 years experience backpack. At last opening them house for people like me goes further about needing help with its garden's maintenance but with the dream of sharing and in my opinion with they -never were- parents role they greatly are actually, at least that's my impression after 3 weeks.
I just have good words about them and a Porto's wine sweet taste in my mouth as the memory about how awesome they make me feel. As in family. Thank you very much Eagleboys!

What else...exquisite melodies with many of you at the other side of the phone. Feelings that make me sing or whistle each day just celebrating our link.
This time I would like to point out the respect I feel for two closest friends just were their 31st Birthday not far away from now. Elena Tore who's sun and lights integrally who is around her, and Jordi Melé who's the heat on a winter cold day and the music of a concert (Callejón Canalla Link). Both you guys represent power, strength and tenderness for me. And a shinny smile.
The little Lapuente (my nephew), Yago, who just celebrate his 2 year old Birthday with the whole family, and I missed it.. I hope to give him a kiss that now I'm also sending to Inés -my niece-, Yolanda -sister in law-, and Manuel -older brother-.
Happy Birthday!!
I would like to send all my support to Angelito -the other of the skull duo!-. I told you dude, we believe in you and in what you're doing now so don't give up and keep strong as when you left us back bikeriding uphill to Sant del Bosc ( hut and hermit at Monsec Range, Spain), you can!!
To finish I would like to give thanks to my faith's pillars and the support in the way when I feel alone, To my Grandma' Lolita and to Felip. To Rebu and Fructu. And of course to my aunt Marga.
Kisses for all of you, in spite some of them should reach highness.
Pablo Lapuente Sagarra.
